The BabyExpo

History: Starting as Europe‘s first big baby fair in 2001, the BabyExpo grew year by year and became Austria‘s biggest fair around the products and topics for young families.

Venue: Wiener Stadthalle, Vienna‘s most important central event venue. 8000 sqm event area

Event profile: Public information and trade fair, product information and placement through producers, distributors and dealers, wide range of information and show program for the whole family, meeting point for the branch.

Visitors: around 20 000

Target audience: young families, parents and soon-to-be-moms as well as audience interested in the topic privately or in business.

Audience structure: Main group of the age 20 - 40, highly interested in investing in the future of the family, demand- and quality-orientated on a long-term basis, potential new and loyal costumers through the total change of life circumstances. Strong selectivity concerning quality and cost effectiveness.

Exhibitors: Producers national and international, distributors and dealers, service providers, main public institutions (ministries etc.) and private organisations.

Products and information spectrum: The range of products offered is mainly concentrating on all needs of babies, but also appeals to the actual requirements of young families facing a new situation in almost all sectors (housing, mobility, health, shopping, leisure time and many more).

Advertisement: 4000 public posters, 300 000 flyers ° TV-ad on „Nick“ ° advertisments ° media co-operations ° regular stories and coverage in print media, radio & TV ° direct mailings with posters and flyers to 3500 doctors and medical specialists, 300 pharmacies, hospitals, kindergartens etc. ° ticketing-co-operation „Austria Ticket“ ° direct advertisement through specialised organisations and institutions ° Coop-advertisement with media and partners (vouchers etc.) ° online advertisement and activities, conversational viral marketing
